At Erickson Adventures Travel we specialize in Caribbean and European destinations by Ocean, Land and Rail. But we don't like to limit ourselves! Maybe you're dreaming of a soul-searching Thailand trip? Or that bucket list Expedition Cruise you've thought so much about? Whatever it is, we are ready to make it happen.
How do you want to see the world? Do you want to relax on a beach? Or see multiple destination by river or sea? Maybe a guided land tour that visits multiple countries? Or perhaps an independent custom itinerary made just for you? However you want to travel, we can put together the right package that fits your desires.
Whether you're traveling solo or with an extended family or affinity group, we do all the coordination so you don't have to. We take care of everything from payment arrangements to seat assignments to making sure Aunt Jenny gets her gluten free meals or Uncle Bob has his distilled water for his C-Pap machine.
Never worked with a Travel Agent before? No problem...here's the skinny:
We start by having a conversation either by phone or email and asking a series of specific questions to help determine exactly what you are wanting, where you want this to happen, how you're going to get there and how much you are willing to pay to get what you want.
Our services are paid for by commissions paid out by the vendors and resorts that we book with - there is no extra charge for our services.* We don't get paid until after you travel.
(Some bookings do not pay commission so we may discuss a nominal booking fee, but it must be agreed upon before the booking takes place).
I was born and raised in Springfield, Missouri and was the 4th daughter to parents who loved to travel. In my early years, we spent a lot of time in Florida and Colorado but also visited many other destinations, both international and domestic. At an early age it became my goal to see as much of this incredible planet as I possibly can - I made my bucket list at the age of 22! I spent 30 years as a hairstylist, traveling as often as I could and then decided it was time to make travel not just my passion but also my profession. After a few years of working as both hairstylist and travel agent (wow, that was a busy time!), I switched to full time travel. In recent years I have also moved from Missouri to northern Iowa and in 2025 relocated to Omaha, Nebraska.
My husband is a college soccer coach and travels often to recruit players - including internationally. What a perfect marriage of careers! We have five children and two grandchildren spread between Missouri, Illinois and Nebraska. Balancing time between our family, jobs and travel is always a challenge but we make sure we find a way. After all, travel is the only thing that you can buy that makes you richer!
